Former Thai rock star poked fun at tsunami
i cant believe someone would poke fun at this situation honestly it disgusts me but he did apologized but i bet only for PR purposes because one who really cared would not make such insensitive remarks.
“Bank” Preeti Barameeanant, former lead singer of the Thai rock group Clash has come out to apologize for his insensitive joke on his twitter account about the earthquake tsunami that devastated the northeastern region of Japan this past March 11. His jokes referenced some of Japan’s cultural movie and anime icons.
His insensitive comments on twitter:
‘The government of Japan declared they are in fear, most likely Phu Thao Tao (Master Roshi from Dragonball Z), Ultraman, Ninja Hattori and Doraemon have met and agreed to join forces to protect the national security of Japan.’
‘Ikkyū-san has declared he will assist all the animals in every region that are in endangered in all of Japan.’
‘The group Al-Qaeda has come forward to deny any involvement in this situation and revealed the cause came from Godzilla who farted while traveling underwater in Japan, 10 km from the city of Sendo.’–I think he means Sendai.
Thousands are dead, homes and towns have been wiped out, several nuclear power plants face meltdowns, and this guy has the nerve to joke about it. I don’t get these types of people.
My favorite contributes done so far for Japan
Since at the moment everyone is donating to Japan. I actually have a list of those artists and people who I literally touched me with their actions.
Yoshiki from X-JAPAN is going to auction off his crystal piano!!!!! so ive been listening to them as a kid and this piano i know must be very precious to him for christ sake its crystal and custom made and he takes this piano to every single one of his concerts around the world.
GACKT'S "SHOW YOUR HEART" charity project which he personally organized through Twitter worldwide with thousands of fans in four different languages spreading the word and fans are translating as well. This would be his second project for relief aid after creating an emergency charity event about four days after the tsunami. Now that tells me he really cares and has a lot of determination.
Kawashima Ai one of my favorite singers she really touched me when she went out in to the streets of Japan giving encouragement and performing in the streets the first time in six years. Starting off as a street performer she performed around eight different areas effected by the earthquake and tsunami and raised about 880,000 yen in one day. She will keep performing till mid april.
Songs for Japan
So on March 25th, the album SONGS FOR JAPAN was available for download in iTunes Store in 22 countries and grabbed the top spot in countries like America and France in a total of 18 countries.
I think this is a great idea and honestly makes me feel grateful and thankful that they are still those that care. I already donated my $30 and convinced a few of my other friends to donate as well. Plus i'm going to get this too.
(the track list is pretty long) but each song is very meaningful and i hope Japan will make a great and fast recovery

Earthquake and Tsunami
Sad sad news for Japan who not only suffered from a 8.9 earthquake but a tsunami as well. My prayers goes out to those families and loved ones out there. I've seen the pictures an it is truly a horrific site.
Although i've already heard of a lot of relief aid donated by a lot Japanese and other Asian artists and worldwide as well. I hope very soon that Japan will be able to stand at the place it was.
Too Many Girl Groups...=_=
The latest trend for the past year in Kpop culture is GIRL GROUPS.
Honestly I'm pretty picky with my female artists because most of the time in Korea as long as you got good eye candy talent doesnt really matter. I use to appreciate all the female artists that made it big in the industry but nowadays its honestly all about looks.
You could say this phase started with SNSD (i only like a selective few of the members) and Wonder Girls. Which used the aigoo so cute tactic to win over crowds. I dont get why most Korean people in general love the super duper cutesy cutesy but as a girl i found it pretty annoying.
But as of 2009 and 2010 they have been over 10 very popular groups that have formed. 2NE1, AFTER SCHOOL, SECRET, JQT, LPG, H.A.M., T-ARA, GIRL'S DAY, RAINBOW, MISS A, F(X),SISTAR, and the list goes on. honestly thats lots of girls to be debuting and competeing at the same time.
